Salaar’ Box Office Day 3 Collection: Prabhas’ latest film has surpassed the Rs 200 crore mark

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, witnessed a surge in its box office earnings on Sunday. Following an impressive opening day collection of Rs 90.70 crore and a substantial Rs 56.35 crore on its first Saturday, the film is projected to have garnered an additional approximately Rs 61 crore on its first Sunday, according to early estimates. Consequently, the overall box office collection for the Prabhas-led film is estimated to have reached around Rs 208.05 crore.

Salaar’s Strong Sunday Showing and Advance Booking Trends Excite Analysts

Salaar experienced remarkable theater occupancy across all its screenings on Sunday. The Telugu shows achieved an impressive overall occupancy of 73.64%, while the Kannada shows recorded a commendable overall occupancy of 65.01%. In addition, the Hindi shows maintained a solid overall occupancy of 48.27% on the same day. The film’s Tamil and Malayalam screenings reported overall occupancies of 31.88% and 38.37%, respectively, on Sunday, according to the film trade portal Sacnilk.

Film trade analyst Joginder Tuteja, commenting on the film’s box office performance and advance booking trends, shared on X (formerly Twitter), “Salaar is on fire in the Hindi belt! In the last one hour, the film sold 43k tickets. There is a 25% growth today, and advance bookings are coming for tomorrow, Christmas Day, as well.

Salaar Achieves Robust Ticket Sales at National Multiplex Chains

In the latest update, Salaar has successfully sold over 18.84 lakh tickets across 12,681 shows at national multiplex chains. The film, led by Prabhas, made an impressive mark by selling 1.89 lakh tickets, amounting to Rs 7.11 crore, at PVR chains, and an additional 1.45 lakh tickets, totaling Rs 5.12 crore, at Inox chains. Cinepolis chains also contributed significantly, with Salaar selling 77,969 tickets, generating approximately Rs 2.82 crore in revenue, as reported by film critic and trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan.

Salaar’s Phenomenal Advance Bookings Set the Stage for a Grand Christmas Day

Ahead of its fourth day in theaters, Salaar generated an exceptional response in advance bookings, selling approximately 6.15 lakh tickets valued at Rs 13.64 crore across 15,745 shows nationwide for Christmas Day. The film’s Telugu and Hindi 2D shows led the pack, with around 4.13 lakh and 1.24 lakh tickets sold, respectively. Following closely were the 2D shows in Malayalam (14,805 tickets), Kannada (12,320 tickets), and Tamil (48,978 tickets), indicating widespread anticipation and enthusiasm among audiences across diverse regions.

Helmed by director Prashanth Neel, Salaar narrates the compelling story of two friends whose paths diverge, transforming them into arch-rivals amid unforeseen circumstances. Produced by Hombale Films, the star-studded cast includes Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, and Easwari Rao, each playing significant roles. The film, which explores themes of friendship, rivalry, and destiny, made its worldwide theatrical debut on December 22, offering audiences an immersive cinematic experience.
