Karthi, known as Japan, takes on the role of a daring thief, challenging the police with high-stakes heists in prestigious jewelry shops across the cities. Living a lavish life funded by his ill-gotten gains, he indulges in his passion for films, playing the hero and even producing his own movies. Amidst all this, Peekallothu finds himself enamored with the heroine, Sanju (played by Anu Emmanuel). However, the escalating series of grand thefts begins to unravel, bringing a host of complications and challenges for Japan.

Why is Japan drawn to stealing gold? How did Sanju, the heroine, find herself falling in love? What actions did Japan take when pursued by the police from three different states after the massive city theft? How did Japan respond when falsely accused of a theft he didn’t commit? Has Japan managed to unmask the person who used his name for a major theft? Who was behind that significant heist? The tale of the Japan movie unfolds as the answers to these questions, revealing the kind of decision Japan ultimately makes to bring joy to his mother.

Karthi’s Stellar Performance as Japan:

When it comes to Karthi, his portrayal of Japan is truly impressive. From his typical dialogue delivery to his body language and overall look, he leaves a lasting impression in every aspect. This character stands out as the best in Karthi’s career. However, the absence of Pasha in the story creates the sense that her character could have added another layer to the narrative. Despite Anu Emmanuel having a limited role, she manages to make an impact.
